How to remove hand brake handle?

Mine is looking pretty worn out (like many others, from what I've seen from pictures).

Also any suggetions or ideas on factory looking (no shiny metal stuff), replacements, that would last, without wearing out so quickly?

i got a CF handle for i think 30 bux, if thats too shiney find another one.

you cant get it off without cutting it up, theres some serious glue under there

You might try taking it to a leather shop and having it re-leathered, not sure if it would work, but its worth a shot.

Thanks guys.

I will attempt to upholster it myself, with a perforated leather wrap, that is sold for steering wheels.

Should be fun, as I'm horrible at sewing (it's just so "un-manly")
