Why thank you. Yes I've been doing engine swaps in Toyotas for a long time.![]()
HEHEH
I'll post up some more pics this coming week of the custom stainless mandrel-bent exhaust I'm building for it.

nice... it reminds me of when i did my swap.. all i gotta say is enjoy extending the wire harness if you decide to do it yourself..
90 na w/ a single 1j
You've got that right, it's a lot of work. If you want to swap and don't want to worry about the wiring, you can always send it to me: http://www.phoenixtuning.com/
Hi Andy! I can't wait to take you for a ride in it!![]()

your stock intercooler piping fit with the 7m fan shroud and aux fans? nice!
No, I had to customize the piping on the passenger side. Thankfully I had some black intercooler piping that was just the right size!
Hey this might sound stupid, but is there a vicous fan attached to the motor that fits the 7m fan shroud. what is it attached to etc... As i was going to go electric fans but if i can get a fan that fits the fan shroud i will do this. My 1j is from a jzx81
Cheers
Yes, that's the 2JZGTE water pump and fan setup. There's a list of what you need here: http://www.1jz-gte.us/92Supra8.html

Looking good man. How long did it take you to get it running once you put the motor in the car? I'm currently trying a 1jz swap. My garrett gt35r is suppose to arrive tomorrow. I've got a thread started on SM, but not here. I'm kind of scared about installing the motor, but I've come too far to turn around now. Hopefully I can handle it. Your's looks awesome.
It took me around 4-6 hours, but I do this fulltime. Take your time and you'll be fine. If you need a hand with the wiring, just let me know, I specialize in converting Toyota wiring harnesses.

Thanks!
Here are the pics of the 3" mandrel-bent stainless exhaust I put together, side by side with what was on there...
I suspect this will flow much better!

Wow it all loooks great. I'm also doing a 1j in an 87 na. Was wondering if you had time to help me with a couple of questions? I'll pm ya.
GYOD!!!!! thats an INSANELY clean install
that polishing looks amazing
How long did it take you for the install? It looks like you guys really moved through every process with no difficulties, very nice.
Well I really took my time, I think that it was around 5 or 6 days of work including building the exhaust, something like that. Total downtime was longer since we spent a little time waiting on parts like the exhaust, which wasn't originally planned.

Hello i Have a Supra, the 7m-ge non turbo, and i want to do the swap for the 1jz, my question is, the transmition that i have works for that engine??? my transmition is manual.
and where is the best place to buy a engine, beside Ebay.?
you need a R154 not the W58 you have now
you can go to Jarco, JHOT, Driftmotion theres lots of places
i personally prefer JHOT
