You've got that right, it's a lot of work. If you want to swap and don't want to worry about the wiring, you can always send it to me: http://www.phoenixtuning.com/

Hi Andy! I can't wait to take you for a ride in it!

No, I had to customize the piping on the passenger side. Thankfully I had some black intercooler piping that was just the right size!

Hey this might sound stupid, but is there a vicous fan attached to the motor that fits the 7m fan shroud. what is it attached to etc... As i was going to go electric fans but if i can get a fan that fits the fan shroud i will do this. My 1j is from a jzx81

    Cheers

Yes, that's the 2JZGTE water pump and fan setup. There's a list of what you need here: http://www.1jz-gte.us/92Supra8.html

Looking good man. How long did it take you to get it running once you put the motor in the car? I'm currently trying a 1jz swap. My garrett gt35r is suppose to arrive tomorrow. I've got a thread started on SM, but not here. I'm kind of scared about installing the motor, but I've come too far to turn around now. Hopefully I can handle it. Your's looks awesome.

It took me around 4-6 hours, but I do this fulltime. Take your time and you'll be fine. If you need a hand with the wiring, just let me know, I specialize in converting Toyota wiring harnesses.

Well I really took my time, I think that it was around 5 or 6 days of work including building the exhaust, something like that. Total downtime was longer since we spent a little time waiting on parts like the exhaust, which wasn't originally planned.

you need a R154 not the W58 you have now

you can go to Jarco, JHOT, Driftmotion theres lots of places

    i personally prefer JHOT
